When will I start working for my sponsor?

You will start working for your sponsor after you receive your work authorization or green card, whichever comes first. If you are doing an Adjustment of Status process, you will be eligible once your work permit (also known as EAD or I-765) is approved. If you are doing Consular Processing, you will be eligible once you enter the U.S. on your immigrant visa.

What is the age limit?

There is no age limit as long as you can manage the job. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Can I include my family in this process?

Yes. You can include your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21. BDV Solutions does not charge any additional fees for our services, but there are attorney and filing fees for including your family members.

Will my spouse also receive a work permit?

Yes, your spouse in this process will also receive a work permit. They will be able to work in any job that they would like with this work permit.

Can I do other work outside of my sponsor or start my own side business?

Yes, as long as your employer sponsor remains your top priority (more information here). Your primary employer is your Green Card sponsor, so prioritizing your commitment to them and working full-time is a key element of the EB-3 visa process.
