What is the EB-3 Unskilled Visa?

A foreign national can obtain the EB-3 Unskilled Visa by either (1) adjusting their status in the United States from a student visa or other type of visa to the EB-3 Visa or (2) applying overseas to be interviewed at a local U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Can I apply from outside of the United States?

Yes! This process is called Consular Processing. While your case is processing, you can wait and live in your current country of residency. At the end of the process you will have an interview at the nearest Consulate or Embassy and will enter the U.S. on an immigrant visa.

How long does the EB-3 Unskilled Visa Process take?
