Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Tom attended The Citadel after graduating from Greenville High School. After graduating from The Citadel, he returned to Greenville to begin his career with C&S National Bank (now Bank of America) as a Branch Manager and Commercial Loan Officer. Tom transitioned his career path into the printing and packaging world, working for Keys Printing and then Rock-Tenn Company. In 1999 he accepted the position of Folding Carton Division Manager for Honeymoon Paper Products. He was responsible for their food grade manufacturing facility in Powdersville growing the location physically and operationally to a 3 shift 5-day plant. Tom also had a sales function role with the company supporting its growth. Tom managed the relocation of the SC Plant to Cincinnati, OH in 2018 and took on the role of National Accounts Sales Manager for the company.

Tom and his wife Carol have two daughters. Their oldest is a Clemson Graduate and their youngest is graduating from Florida State. Carol and Tom own The Rock House Antiques in Greenville. He loves everything family and is especially fond of the outdoors.
