John is a proud Columbia, South Carolina native and graduate of the nationally ranked International MBA program at the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He received his BA in Philosophy and BA in Creative Writing from the University of South Carolina Honors College and the University of Oregon. John is the Senior Vice President of Program Success for BDV Solutions, LLC and supports employers and clients in employment-based visa solutions

In 2013, John began work with the founders of BDV Solutions, a labor solutions company, utilizing the EB-3 unskilled visa process. He was one of the original minority partners, along with founder, Britt Vergnolle. He has been involved in all aspects of the EB3 unskilled business to date, from the management of employer Sponsors, to sales, accounting, Department of Labor audit preparations, review and filing of 1,000+ Labor Certifications, foreign national on-boarding, and client / employer management.

He was the first Director of the Client Services unit for BDV Solutions for which he managed several employees and oversaw the on-boarding, settlement and post hire support for hundreds of foreign nationals from 25 different countries who now work and live in over 20 different states in the US.

Prior to helping found BDV, John was a skilled business consultant and manager with experience in complex real estate partnerships and Trusts. With over 15 years in real estate investing and management, John was lead negotiator on complex commercial transactions such as the sale of a large commercial tract to Verizon Communications for an international support center in South Carolina, along with the active management of several large real estate development projects.

John has always valued and enjoyed working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. John further studied at Tec de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico and worked with NGO Iniciativa Fomcafe in Oaxaca, Mexico where he supported large organic agricultural cooperatives.

John lives on a farm in Athens, Georgia with his wife and two children. In his free time, you will find John playing guitar, hiking, studying botany and being a very proud father. John is fluent in Spanish.
