BDV Solutions, LLC ("BDV") is the largest independent third-party provider of EB-3 employee sponsor consulting and case management services in the U.S., focusing on unskilled (entry-level) labor solutions for U.S. businesses. BDV works with the top immigration law firms to assist non-immigrant visa holders to adjust their visa status in the U.S. from an eligible non-immigrant visa to EB-3 permanent residency Green Card and foreign nationals living outside of the U.S. through the Consulate Process. This position will also support other lines of business as we continue to grow and expand.

Position Overview

The Data clerk supports both Team A and Team B in the Global Mobility Department and is responsible for inputting a high volume of client information, case data, and data-related projects into BDV databases from various sources such as law firms and US Government agencies. The data clerk manages data from the beginning of the Department of Labor (DOL) process through employment and permanent residency. The data clerk verifies client case status data within USCIS and Department of State online portals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Updates client information and data related to client cases in various BDV databases
  • Creates spreadsheets and tracks client processes and legal timelines, such as interviews, appointments, upcoming trigger items, and other time-sensitive information
  • Onboards new Foreign Nationals with the attorney after Labor Certification is approved
  • Confirms receipt of payment for invoicing
  • Consolidates documents needed for certified ETA-9089s transfer to outside legal counsel
  • Uploads hard copy data (mail) and legal documents to digital files in relevant systems
  • Completes special projects as requested
  • Compiles and monitors various reports such as Labor Certification approvals and expiration dates
  • Monitors employer-sponsor inbox for approvals, audits, and National Visa Center notices
  • Assists with data entry and data migration projects, as needed
  • Compiles weekly data report updates for Global Mobility
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel Skills required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior data entry experience in high-capacity volume
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multitask across various computer systems
  • Service-oriented with the ability to resolve and troubleshoot issues
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software and programs

Education and Experience

  • Some College/Associates degree preferred
  • 1 plus year(s) work experience in similar position
  • Prior experience working with Employment Based or similar Immigration programs helpful
