Shannon's working career started in 1992 at Wal-Mart. She was quickly promoted to cash office manager, and worked in that position for 4 years. From there, Shannon had other positions at two other companies where I handled accounting functions for 2 1/2 years.
In 1998, Shannon began working for a FAA repair station in the accounting department, and was there for 21 years. She was responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory control, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, some purchasing functions, and commercial shipping paperwork. While there, she served as her church's treasurer for 5 years, handling every financial function for them as well. Shannon also met her future husband at that job. They worked together for many years before starting to date and eventually getting married in 2009. They're the proud parents of 3 grown boys, and are anxiously awaiting the birth of their first grandchild.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, crafting, gardening and going to the lake.
